This project is an assortment of random unrelated sketches purged from an old sketch book. They were the result of a 30 day sketch challenge or more commonly called Ink October these days. They were mostly fun and practice exercises to re-stretch the creative sketching muscle after some time away. As with any expertise, practice makes perfect.
I decided to participate in a 30 day sketch challenge to stretch the creative muscles and revisit my sketchbook after some time away. I mostly free sketched daily about unrelated random characters, objects and themes to force myself to be consistent in the training that month. Both pencil and charcoal was used and all documented in my sketchbook.
The final sketches were unique pencil and charcoal drawings of unrelated characters, themes, etc. They were merely daily exercises to train my sketch muscles again after some time away.
The end result of the sketches is a nice collection of random drawings to stash away in my binder of sketches. Over the years many sketch books have been consumed and ultimately I dissect and store the sketches in binders to keep the space it takes up to a minimal.
