Project Summary

I partnered with a creative agency as a contracted extension of their main team to help establish the icon set, background colors and usage of header designs and color application for an internal website layout. We collaborated to design the components that made up the header design, navigational icons and sidebar links for use in the internal SharePoint site intended to share information, documents, and more for WhiteWave. I designed the icon sets and their colors based on the existing design guidelines and created the header designs and round bubble sidebar icons to use to cement the website information hierarchy.

Approach

I was independently contracted by a local design firm to help design and produce the various icons and their usage across web banners and sidebar links within the site. I collaborated with the project manager and original creative to get the requirements and execute the project.

Solution

The final components made up the design and internal navigation for the website UI. The headers, icons, and color application were strategically applied to determine the site hierarchy for the suers.

Impact

The final designed components and color application was used to help users navigate the internal site framework. The components mirrored the base design and created the architecture needed to visually aid the users.
